Panels

1. Interested in running an event (also known as panels) at True Self Con? Please see our simple rules below before submitting and be aware submissions will close November 1, 2025.

2. In order to allow for setup and breakdown between events, we would like for panels to be between 30 and 90 minutes long.

3. Please keep all panels PG-13 or below in content.

4. If you are needing decorations or sound, please include this in the description of your panel and we will let you know if it's allowed, at what level and with what materials as the hotel has policies on all of these. We may also be able to provide some of what you need (Example: You are bringing sheets of paper to be filled out and then tossed at the end. The staff will try to get you a trashcan or trash bag so that you don’t have to find one after the event)

5. If you find you can no longer host your panel, please reach out to us as soon as you can, so we can try to find a replacement or at least warn attendees that the panel is no longer going to happen

6. As much as possible staff will be around to help with setup and break down of events, so please feel free to ask

7. Panelists will be informed if their panel is chosen by sometime in mid January and be informed of the time of their panel at least two weeks before con.
